About 10 days ago I was hit with the news that we have to leave between October and December. We would get to choose the month, but we had to leave during one of those months. I chose December, because I wanted as much time left with my clients as possible.
If I have been a little slow with processing orders this past week, this is why. Coming to the realization that you only have 5 months to get your stuff together and move is frustrating. It's not just that I'm moving, I have to take my daughter out of school, I have to uproot my business and start all over again in a new state, and I have to MOVE. We just moved into this house December 15th...!!!
On the bright side, I am moving back home to Virginia Beach. I hope to open up a studio in 2012, and will travel the east coast to do weddings and events. It's exciting but daunting at the same time. So much to do...
So that's it. I'm moving to Virginia around November or December. I will repost this blog as many times as I need to so you all are aware of the changes that are coming. I am still keeping all weddings that have paid deposits of course, and all other shoots up to October. I may be able to shoot the first two weeks of November, but I won't know until we get orders.
Thank you to everyone that has hired me and believed in my talent. You don't know how guilty I feel for making such good client relationships just to have them taken from me. I will update when I know more.
