what I've been up to lately | personal

It's super early in the morning for me (listen, I will never get used to being up at 8am) so this post is going to be all over the place...

This summer has been a hectic one full of weddings, birthdays, and working at my second job. I'm glad things have settled down into fall so I'll have a little more time to update things :)

As you can see, my branding has changed again. I really love the simplicity, colors, and the hand drawn hearts. I'm a doodler, so it only made sense to incorporate that into my brand. I can only pray that this one sticks...I'm notorious for changing my branding, but change is always good.

With branding changes comes website changes and pricing changes for the new year. Not sure if I'm going to just go with a blog for my new site, or if I'll keep both the website and the blog. It seems to be so much easier to just do a blog right? We'll see.

I'm excited for the beautiful wedding I'll be photographing in 2 weeks. Can't wait to book more brides for next year.

I want to start blogging again. Not only sessions, but personal stuff as well. I feel like that would get you all to know me a little better, if you knew me not only as a photographer, but as a real person as well. I want to do so much in 2013...blog more, hire an apprentice, go to expos, do out of the box sessions...really put myself out there. I've been limited with working so much outside of photography, but I'm fully throwing myself back into it. Who needs sleep when you have Starbucks, right? ;)
